Twine is closed

Thank you for choosing Twine to save for your financial goals. John Hancock has made the difficult decision to close the Twine product and website, effective December 3, 2021.


To review your account, access a remaining balance, or view statements, please visit apexclearing.com.
You can create a User ID by following these steps:

  1. Select the symbol that looks like a person in the top-right for “Log In.”
  2. Select “Create User ID.” If you already have a User ID and need a PIN reset, select “Forgot Password” instead.
  3. Click “Next.”
  4. Enter your account number in the “Account Number” field.*
  5. Complete the process and you’ll have access to your account.


* You should have received an email from John Hancock (no-reply@digital.johnhancock.com) with a password-protected PDF containing your account number. Your account number is required to set up an account at Apex Clearing now that Twine is closed.
